There have been several movies called “Aarzoo”. There was one “Aarzoo” in 1966 where Shankar Jaikishan’s hit music had helped the movie become a big box office success. There was another movie of this name that was released in 1951. This movie had songs of different genre and they too had become popular in their times.
I have posted the best known song from “Aarzoo” (1950) already in this blog. Here is one of the lesser known songs from this movie. It is sung by Lata. Prem Dhawan is the lyricist and Anil Biswas composed the music.
Any idea who is the lady on whom this song is picturised ?
Well, she is Kamini Kaushal, as informed by my knowledgeable readers.

Honey laden voice nightingale Lata Mangeshkar singing for young Kamini Kaushal. Very beautiful song of late 40s…. Lataji is considered as natures miracle most beautiful voice on earth. Great singer has sung for 8 decades, 30 actresses from madhubala,meena kumari,nargis,vijayanthimala,nutan,waheeda rehman…to madhuri dixit. Lataji has sung to almost all music directors like Naushad,SD Burman,Madan Mohan,Roshan,Shankar JaiKishen,Salil Chaudhary…. Lataji has sung to some of the bollywood greatest classics of all times like Mughal-e-azam, Mother India, Baiju Bawara,Madhumati,Mahal,Guide…..Royal Albert Hall London has analyzed Lataji voice as most perfect in the world!!!
Myself very keen to meet living Goddess Saraswati…
