I have posted three awesome songs from “Maaya” (1961). It turns out that there is another great song in this movie. Here is this song- “Koyi sone ke dil waala koyi chaandi ke dil waala”.
Thus there are four awesome songs in this one movie, that too songs sung by different singers- Rafi, Lata and Dwijen Mukherji. One must take one’s hat off to Salil Chaudhary the music director of this movie. The other three songs from this movie are-“Ae dil kahaan teri manzil”, “Jaa re jaa re ud jaa re panchhi” and “tasweer teri dil mein jis din se utaari hai”. Indeed four gems in one movie makes this movie a great musical blockbuster.
Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist.
