I was not aware of this song from “Kavi” (1954) till today. It is only when a regular reader of this blog (Dr. Rashmikant Vyas) informed me about this song that I have listened to this song for the first time just now. What a lovely song !
This song is sung mainly by Talat Mehmood though Lata too chips in by singing four lines. Rajinder Krishan wrote this song and C Ramchandra composed the music.
So here is this lovely duet from “Kavi” (1954).

Such a lovely song….I had heard it on Vividh Bharati long long ago but never knew which movie it was from. Thanks! 🙂
