Dil milaa ke milo paas aake milo

In this blog, I have written about quite a few lesser known singers, lyricists and music directors and posted their songs. I in fact take pride in the fact that this blog is perhaps the only place where one can get the most information about their songs.
For example, I am certain that if one wants to listen to the songs composed by the highly talented and criminally underutilised music director Ganesh, then this blog is the right place. So far I have posted as many as 27 songs composed by him, which constitues nearly 30 % of all the songs that Ganesh composed in Hindi movies. All these songs are gems, which are bound to leave the listeners mesmerised, if it is possible to get mesmerised aurally.
Songs created by Ganesh are for some reason very difficult to come by, and that is one reason why I have not been able to post more songs of Ganesh.
Here is another rare to find Ganesh composition, which I discovered recently. This song is from “Thakur Jarnail Singh” (1966). This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. I am not aware about the identity of the actresses on whom this stage song is picturised. I request my knowledgeable readers to help identify them for me. 😀
I can of course identify Sheikh Mukhtar who is also visible in the picturisation.
