The golden era of Hindi movie music was enriched not only by the well known music directors, but also by the lesser known names. Many of these lesser known music directors deserved much more recognition and opportunities than what they ultimately ended up with.
S Mohinder is one of the highly talented but criminally underutilised music director.
“Naataa” (1955) was one of the first movies of S Mohinder as a music director. I have so far discussed three songs from this movie. Here is another song.
This song is a sad song, which is sung by Lata and it is picturised on Madhubala. Tanvir Naqvi is the lyricist.
