Churaa le na tumko ye mausam suhaanaa

Recently I had discussed a song from “Dil Hi To Hai” (1963) which was not included in the movie.
Here is another song from “Dil Hi To Hai” (1963). Thi song too does not figure in the DVD of this movie. I have no idea if it is the DVD makers who have edited this song out of the movie or this song was excluded during its first release itself. If it was excluded from the movie during its release stage itself then it is a big disservice to the music lovers and an injustice to the artists involved in its creation.
This song , like the other excluded song( Yoon hi dil ne chaahaa thhaa rona rulaanaa )from this movie,is sung by Suman Kalyanpuri. This time, Mukesh too joins her in singing this song.
Sahir Ludhianvi is the lyricist and music is composed by Roshan.
Song-Churaa le na tumko ye mausam suhaanaa (Dil Hi To Hai) (1963) Singers-Mukesh, Suman Kalyanpur, Lyrics-Sahir Ludhianvi, MD-Roshan
Lyrics
churaa le naa tumko ye mausam suhaanaa
khuli waadiyon mein akeli na jaanaa
lubhaataa hai mujhko ye mausam suhaanaa
main jaaungi tum mere peechhe na aanaa
lipat jaayegaa koi bebaak jhonkaa
jawaani ki rau mein naa aanchal udaanaa
ho ho
mere waaste tum pareshaan na honaa
mujhe khoob aataa hai daaman bachaanaa
mujhe khoob aataa hai daaman bachaanaa
main jaaungi tum mere peechhe na aanaa
churaa le naa tumko ye mausam suhaanaa
khuli waadiyon mein akeli na jaanaa
ghataa bhi kabhi choom leti hai chehraa
samajh soch kar rukh se zulfen hataanaa
ho
ghataa mere nazdeek aakar to dekhe
in aankhon ne seekhaa hai bijli giraanaa
in aankhon ne seekhaa hai bijli giraanaa
main jaaungi tum mere peechhe na aanaa
churaa le naa tumko ye mausam suhaanaa
khuli waadiyon mein akeli na jaanaa
main jaaungi tum mere peechhe na aanaa
khuli waadiyon mein akeli na jaanaa

I didn’t see this movie when it was released, but we had this small tent theater near our house, and this movie was being shown there, and I remember hearing this song as well as Yoon hi dil ne chaaha tha … all the time. In fact, I heard all the songs so many times that I still remember all the lyrics (that was how I learned so many songs in those days!), so it must have been included in the movie.

Atul,
I did see this movie back in the 60’s and distinctly remember the tune, and it being present in the theatric release.
Those were the IIT-student days, when we made occasional forays into the city, a) to watch a movie, and b) to make an advance booking for a later movie! I remember for 4 ruppes, I could buy an all-day pass on the BEST system, and ride everywhere.

Thanks for this information. If this song is not available these days, then we should blame the DVD/VCD makers.
