Most movies in which Madan Mohan composed movies ended up as box office disasters. Many of these movies are today remembered mainly for their music rather than for anything else. And what timeless music these movies had !
I have resolved to discuss songs from all these movies in which Madan Mohan composed music, however obscure these movies may be. In this series, here is a song from a movie called “Nirmohi”(1952). This obscure movie had actors like Sajjan, Nutan, Amarnath, Chaman PuriI, Neeru, Leela Mishra, C.L. Kavish, and Raj Mehra in it. Sajjan as Hero ! Yes indeed those were the days.
Only the audio of this song is available. I can guess that this song is a lullaby and that it must be picturised on Nutan.
This song is sung by Lata and it is written by Uddhav Kumar.
Here is this forgotten song, which is one of the earliest Lata-Madan Mohan compositions.
