Though I am aware of most songs from “Mother India” (1957), I was just not aware about this song from the movie. In fact, I was not aware that Manna Dey had sung a song in this movie.
Yes, here is this song from “Mother India” (1957). This is a background song which plays while Nargis and her two kids are seen suffering and toiling away.
Shakeel Badayuni is the lyricist and music is composed by Naushad.
Come to think of it, I was not aware that Naushad had ever used the voice of Manna Dey in his compositions. This must be one of the very few occasions where Manna Dey has sung under the music direction of Naushad.

Song-Chundariya katati jaaye re (Mother India) (1957) Singer-Manna Dey, Lyrics-Shakeel Badayuni,MD-Naushad
Lyrics
Chundariya katati jaaye re
umariya ghatati jaaye re
kaam kathin hai jeewan thhoda
kaam kathin hai re
kaam kathin hai jeewan thhoda
pagla man ghabraayi
chundariya katati jaaye re
umariya ghatati jaaye re
dukh dard sahen
ban jaa re bhaiyya
dhoop mein dekhen taaren
din raat bahaayen paseenaa ham
kuchh haath na aaye hamaare
kuchh haath na aaye hamaare
hamari saari mehnat maayaa
thagwa thag le jaayi
chundariya katati jaaye re
umariya ghatati jaaye re
dharti pe kitne baaramaase
beete gaye re aake Rama
beete gaye re aake
duniya ke liye hai leelaa tere
hamre bhaag mein phaake Rama
hamre bhaag mein phaake
kaagaz ho to baanch le Rama
bhaag na baanchi jaayi
chundariya katati jaaye re
umariya ghatati jaaye re
sansaar mein tere loot machi
aur jaan ke pad gaye laale
aur jaan ke pad gaye laale
ab rok janam ki chakki re
ab rok janam ki chakki re
sansaar chalaane waale
sansaar chalaane waale
kaal padaa hai roti kaa
aur duniyaa badhti jaaye
chundariya katati jaaye re
umariya ghatati jaaye re

True,Manna Dey has given least songs to Naushad. There is one more song in Mother India where Manna Dey features,i.e. Dukh bhare din beete re bhaiya, albeit with other singers. He has given one song,Main idhar jaun in PALKI under Naushad.
