“Pyaar ki Jeet” (1948) is a movie which had actors like Rehman ,Suraiyya,Gope,Manmohan ,Niranjan Sharma etc in it. Raj Mehra made his debut with this movie. This movie was produced by Famous pictures and it was directed by O P Dutta.
This movie has some wonderful songs in it and I have discussed three songs from this movie including the iconic song Tere nainon ne chori kiyaa mera chhota sa jiya pardesiya . Yes, this song, which was such a fixture in “puraani filmon ke geet” programme of Radio Ceylon is from this movie.
Here is a lovely song from “Pyaar Ki Jeet” (1948) which I heard for the first time only just now. This song is sung by Surinder Kaur. Though only the audio of this song is avilable, but according to informations available about this song on internet, this song was picturised on Manorama.
