“Dak Bangla” (1947) is a movie starring Wasti,Suraiyya,Kamal Kapoor (making his debut),Gope, M Ismail, Rampyaari etc. This movie was produced by Indian National Pictures Limited and it was directed by M Sadiq.
The songs of this movie were sung by singers like Suraiyya, Mukesh and Rafi. But it also had songs sung by at least one more singer.
Here is a song from “Dak Bangla” (1947). This song is sung by Suraiyya and Indrabadan Bhatt. Most of the song is sung by Suraiyya and Indrabadan Bhatt just repeats the same one line “dhoondh hi lenge dhoondhne waale” in the three stanzas of the song.
Though only the audio of this song is available, it is obvious that the song is picturised on Suraiyya but I am not sure who is the actor who lip syncs in Indrabadan Bhatt’s voice onscreen.
