“Lekh” (1949) was a Liberty Arts Production. It was directed by G Ganesh. Starcast of the movie included Motilal, Suraiyya, Anand Pal, Cuckoo, Ishu, Jagirdar, Sitara etc.
Here is a song from this movie. This song is sung by Suraiyya and so obviously it was picturised on her as well. M L Khanna is the lyricist and music is composed by Khishna Dayal.

Music Director Krishna Dayal may not be a wellknown name to most people,but he is one MD for whom many wellknown singers have sung songs.
Mohd.Rafi,Geeta Dutt,Asha Bhosle,Lata Mangeshkar,Mukesh,Suraiyya,Sulochana Kadam have sung his songs.Even good Lyricists like Qamar Jalalabadi,Raghupati Rai,D.N.Madhok,Randheer and Amar as well as M.L.Khanna have written songs for him.
A.M.Krishna Dayal has given music to Raj kapoor/Nimmi film Banwra-50,
Zanjeer-47,Malika Saloni-53,lekh-49 and Vijay Garh-54.
