Ravi, the creator of iconic songs (which is my favourite way of describing him) began his career as an independent music director in 1955, when “Vachan” (1955) and “Albeli”(1955) were released.
The songs of “Vachan” (1955) are quite well known, including the well loved and well known song Chanda mama door ke(Vachan). The songs of “Albeli” (1955) are relatively less known in comparison.
Here is a song from “Albeli” (1955) which I heard for the first time only just now. And I absolutely loved this song on the first listning itself. This song is there on YT, but the uploader has not provided any details about this song. In fact the song itself is described merely as “Film Albeli 1955 a rare song of Asha Bhonsle”, which is not very helpful if one decides to search this song by its lyrics.
Here is this rare song which is an extremely sweet and melodious song. It is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Ravi is the lyricist as well as music director of this movie. This Films and Television Production movie was directed by D C Goel. Starcast of the movie included names like Pradeep Kumar,Geeta Bali, Om Prakash, Johnny Walker, Randhir, Brijnarayan, Shukla, Tuntun etc. I guess that the song is picturised on Geeta Bali.

thanks for ferreting among among many, for this nice song.I now recall as having liked it during my younger days. Albeli was a fun film
