“Baaghi Shehzaada” (1964) was a Gee Pee films production. It was directed by Maruti, The movie had Kishore Kumar and Kumkum in lead roles, alongwith W. M. Khan, Anwar, Maruti, B. M. Vyas etc.
This movie had Kishore Kumar in it so one expects him to sing his own songs. But here is one song from this movie where Kishore Kumar, like most lead actors lip syncs in another voice, namely in Rafi’s voice. This song is a duet where Suman Kalyanpur too figures and she leds her voice to Kumkum.
The song is written by Noor Dewasi. Music is composed by Bipin.

this is a good song.
and this has happened a few times that Rafi has sung for KK. any idea about the number of such songs. i know this blog has around 3. how m any more?

Kishore Kumar also got playback from one of the classical singers whom I am unable to identify, in the film Raagini (1958) -‘chhed diye mere dil ke taar kyoon’

The classical song of Ragini,’Chhed diye mere dilke’ was a duet sung by Amanat Ali and Fateh Ali and the song was written by Janisar Akhtar.
