“Baadal” (1951) was a Verma Films presentation. The movie was directed by Amiya Chakraborty. Starcast of the movie had names like Premnath, Madhubala, Purnima, Hiralal, Randhir, S. Nazir, Agha etc.
The movie had eight songs in it. As many as seven of these songs have already been discussed.
Here is the eighth and final song from this movie. This song is sung by Lata and it is picturised on Purnima. I thank Prakashchandra for identifying the actress.
Shailendra is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shankar Jaikishan.

forget about who is related to whom, just enjoy the song and be happy. even if u make final verdict it is not going to make diff. to their life. another most memorable song sung by lataji.

The song was lip synced by Purnima(and not by Madhubala)
Purnima is Mahesh Bhatt`s Aunt and Grand mother of today`s hotshot Hindi movie hero Emraan Hashmi. She was permanent fixture of Raj khosla directed movies.

Kahin padha hai Purnima ji Emran Hashmi ki NAANI lagthi hai, Maaf keejiye Khyati ji,iss se zyada iss vishay ke baare mein, hamein Arunji hi bata sakthe hain.

Mahesh Bhatt is the son of Nanabhai Bhatt and Shirin mohd.Ali.There were 4 daughters and 2 sons to this couple,who never stayed together as nanabhai Bhatt was already married and had a large family already.Mahesh and mukesh are brothers.
Pooja Bhatt-ex actress/writer and director as well as Director mohit Suri are Emran hashmi’s maternal cousins-means mahesh Bhatt is Hashmi’s Mama.Obviously,he must have been son of one of the sisters of mahesh Bhatt.
It is uncofirmed that this sister was Purnima or any other sister was Purnima.Even if yes,she will be Hashmi’s aunt(Buwa) and NOT gandmother.

Not sure if my comments referencing links of other websites will make it through, so here it is:
–Purnima was the first wife of flim journalist, director, actor, Shaukat Hashmi, who laterly migrated to lahore. And she is grand mother of Emraan (articles on web on rediff/tehelka confirms). Not sure how Emraan is related to Mahesh Bhatt though, whether his mother is Mahesh Bhatt’s sister or something; or if Poornima is Mahesh Bhatt’s mausi.
