Na jaane kahaan ab qadam le chale hain

Posted on: May 23, 2012

“Khuda Ka Banda”(1957) was a Chitrabharati Production. It was directed by Chaturbhuj Doshi. The movie had Chandrashekhar, Tiwari, Krishna Kumari, Gope, Kanhaiyalal etc in it.

One song from this movie has been discussed in the past. Here is another song from the movie.

This lesser known song is sung by Geeta Dutt. Shewan Rizvi is the lyricist. Music is composed by S N Tripathi.

Only the audio of this song is available so it is difficult to guess about the picturisation of this song. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this matter.

Song-Na jaane kahaan ab qadam le chale hain (Khuda Ka Banda )(1957) Singer-Geeta Dutt, Lyrics-Shewan Rizvi, MD-S N Tripathi

Lyrics

barbaad kiya
ho na ho barbaad
jab tak bhi rahe
meri wafaaon ko kare yaad

na jaane kahaan ab
qadam le chale hain
na jaane kahaan ab
qadam le chale hain
tumhaare bichhadne ka
gham le chale hain
tumhaare bichhadne ka
gham le chale hain

tumhaare rahenge
jahaan bhi rahen ham
tumhaare rahenge
jahaan bhi rahen ham
tumhen yaad kar kar ke
niklega ye dam
tumhen yaad kar kar ke
niklega ye dam
jo khaayi thhi hamne
qasam le chale hain
tumhaare bichhadne ka
gham le chale hain
na jaane kahaan ab
qadam le chale hain
tumhaare bichhadne ka
gham le chale hain

kidhar jaayen
gham ka andhera hai har su
kidhar jaayen
gham ka andhera hai har su
muqaddar ne di thhi (?)
huye thhe ye aansoo
muqaddar ne di thhi (?)
huye thhe ye aansoo
na tum ne diye hain
na hamne chale hain
tumhaare bichhadne ka
gham le chale hain
na jaane kahaan ab
qadam le chale hain
tumhaare bichhadne ka
gham le chale hain
