“Shrimati 420″(1956) was produced and directed by G P Sippy. This movie, which is by and large forgotten by now had Johny Walker and Meena Shorey in lead roles.
I have been discovering the songs of this movie these days and I am finding these songs to be nothing less than priceless gems.
Here is another forgotten gem from “Shrimati 420″(1956). This song is sung by Geeta Dutt with gusto. The song is an inspirational and philosophical song which is penned by Jaan Nisaar Akhtar. The lyrics tell us the facts about our lives in simple to easy terms. Life is wonderful, no matter how much tough it may appear to us. We need to take the good and the bad experiences of our lives in our stride and keep enjoying life. Be happy and make other happy too.
What a wonderful philosophical song. One should listen to this song whenever one feels low in his/her life and is in the need of cheering up.
