“Elaan” (1947) was a Mehboob Productions movie. It was produced and directed by Mehboob Khan.
The movie had Surendra, Munawwar Sultana, Zebunissa, Agha, Shahnawaz, W. M. Khan, Leela Mishra, Rita, Shaheda, Subhasini, Reehan, Mohammad Afzal etc in it.
As many as eight songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the ninth song from this movie.
This song is sung by Surendra and it is picturised on him as well. Zia Sarhadi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Naushad.

Atul ji,
There are 10 songs in Elan-47,as per HFGK.
You posted 9th song today,so I wanted to check which is the remaining 10th song.
I found that the song “Mere pehlu mein hai zindagani” by Zohrabai,posted on the 28th July 2012,does not feature in the HFGK.
This means that either that song was not from that film,or it was removed or deleted before the film released.It could also be a HFGK mistake.
No such song with this Mukhda was found in the total song list of films from 1931 to1950,which I checked myself.
Anyway,as per HFGK,there are still 2 more songs to be posted from Elaan-47.

Which are the songs as per HFGK that are yet to be posted ? According to my list the one song still remaining to be discussed is “Dekh Khuda Ki Shaan Saheli”
As for the song “Mere Pehlu mein”, perhaps it may be listed with some other mukhda. The song is uploaded on YT by Eros Entertainment, who marketed the video of this movie.

The songs remaining are-
1. As you have mentioned, Dekh khuda ki shaan…. and
2.budha budha purani purani dhili dhili kamar ki kamani….Zohra Solo.
I checked with the Lyrics of mere pehlu mein,as given on the Blog,but nowhere the words of the second song were found.So looks like,it is a different song altogether.
