“Bahaar” (1951) was an A V M Production movie. It was directed by M V Raman. The movie had Karan Dewan, Vyjyanti Mala, Pran, Pandhari Bai, Tabassum, Gope, Shymalal, Chaman Puri, Leela Misra, Sunder, Om Prakash etc in it.
As many as six songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the seventh song from the movie.
This song is a “remonstrating with the Almighy” genre of the song with a difference that here the Almighty is not blamed but his creatures are. So this is a climbdown from another song in the movie ( Bhagwaan do ghadi zara insaan ban ke dekh), where the almighty was severely indicted. 🙂
This song is sung by Geeta Dutt. I am very poor is identifying actresses of the past but my guess is that she is Pandhari Bai. I request our knowledgeble readers to help conform/ refute my identifcation.
Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by S D Burman.

I think the song is at par if not better than the other one

I think the actress picturised singing the song is Pandari Bai.
