“Passing Show” (1956), an obscure B grade movie, was directed by Master Bhagwan for Mukul Pictures. The movie had Chandrashekhar, Shakeela, Daljeet, Purnima etc in it.
Today (13 june 2013) is the 90th birth anniversary of Prem Dhawan (13 june 1923- 7 may 2001). On this occasion here is a song from “Passing Show” (1956). This song is sung by Geeta Dutt. Prem Dhawan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Manohar.
Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Prakashchandra.
Only the audio of this song is available and so it is difficult to say how and on whom this song is picturised. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on this movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.

Lyrics(Provided by Prakashchandra)
hmm hmm hmmm hmmm mmm
hmm hmmm hmmm
hmmm hmmmm hmm hmm hmmm hmm hmm
ye hawaayein sanam
ye nazaare
keh rehe hain ye karke ishaare
tu ho jaa kissee kaa
ho jaa rey
ye hawaayein sanam ye nazaare
zulfon ki chhaaon mein so jaa zaraa
khwaabon ki duniyaa mein kho jaa zaraa
poorey kar le tu armaan dil ke pyaare
ye hawaayein sanam
ye nazaare
keh rehe hain ye karke ishaare
kis nashe mein ye jahaan hai
khoyaa khoyaa ye samaa hai
aaj kyaa huaa hai jaadoo
na jaane dil kahaan hai
maine chhodee hai naao tere sahaare
ye hawaayein sanam
ye nazaare
keh rahe hain ye karke ishaare
aa duniyaa se begaanaa kar doon tujhe
bin pilaaye hi mastaana kar doon tujhe
hmm hmm hmmm hmm
hmm hmm hmmm hmmm
raaz dil ke churaa loon tere saarey
ye hawaayein sanam
ye nazaare
keh rahe hain ye karke ishaare
tu ho jaa kissee kaa
ho jaa rey
ye hawaayein sanam ye nazaare

Hello, I am a regular reader of your blog since i receive your emails daily. I live in Trinidad West Indies. I understand little Hindi language but I enjoy Indian music from all various films. My grandparents came from India many years ago and we have been following indian movies for more than 100 years. Every year we have at 4 or 5 indian artistes visiting here. My favourite actor is Rajesh Khanna. So sad he left us. My question is which actor lip sycned the most of Mohammed Rafi’s songs. It could be Rajendra kumar or Dilip Kumar or Shammi Kapoor. Only my guess. Thank you and i look forward to your daily emails.

Seshadri ji
Thank you for updating about the movie name. This name especially became a riddle for me, as the movie is an obscure one and nothing much information is available about this movie.
Regards
Prakash
