“Haathi Mere Saathi” (1971) was produced by Chinnappa Dewar and Sandow M M. A and directed by M Thirumugam. The movie had Rajesh Khanna, Tanuja, Sujit Kumar, David Abraham, Krishnakant, Randhir, Devar, Naaz, Abhi Bhattacharya, K N Singh, Mehmood Junior, Tinku etc, not to forget a few elephants.
This much loved movie had some nice hummable songs in it. There were six songs in the movie. Five of these songs have been discussed in the past.
Here is the sixth and final song from the movie. this song is sung by Lata and Kishore Kumar. the song is picturised on Tanuja and Rajesh Khanna, with elephants also visible in the picturisation.
Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.

thank you thank you thank you Avinashji for sending the lyrics for this song. saw it today after ages i simply used to love this song. it has stopped coming on Radio also.
