Today (28 september 2013) is the 84th birth anniversary of Lata Mangeshkar (DOB 28 september 1929). On this occasion, we will discuss a few songs sung by her.
Here is a Rafi Lata duet from “Ustaad Pedro” (1951).
“Ustaad Pedro” (1951) was an Omar Khayyam Production movie. It was directed by Harish. The movie had Sheikh Mukhtar, Mukri, Begum Para, Shammi, Sapru, Ansari, Sunalini Devi, Chaman Puri, Agha etc in it.
Only the audio of this song is available and so the actors who enact this song on screen are not known to me. even the Rafi excel sheet draws a blank on this count. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
This song is a light hearted comedy song which is penned by Raja Mehdi ali Khan. Music is composed by C Ramchandra.
