“Swayam Siddha” (1949) was directed by Shyam Das for Indian National Art Pictures. The movie had Samar Roy, Shanta Apte, Molina, Hiralal, Priti Majumdar, Bhupendra Kapoor, Gitashree, Amarnath, Bipin Gupta etc in it.
Here is a song from this movie. it is sung by Talat Mehmood. The song is written by Bhawani Prasad Mishra who was a noted Hindi poet and a recipient of Sahitya Academi award who tried his hands in Hindi movies as a lyricist as well.
PS-I noticed after posting this writeup that today (20 february 2014) is the 29th death anniversary of Bhawani Prasad Mishra (29 march 1913- 20 february 1985).
