“Baaz” (1953) was directed by Guru Dutt for H G Films. The movie had Guru Dutt, Geeta Bali, Ramsingh, Kuldip Kaur, Sulochana, Yashodhara Katju, Jaswant, K. N. Singh etc in it.

This song is a boat song which is such by Geeta Dutt and lip synced by Yashodhara Katju (I hope I have identified her correctly) on a boat, while romance between Guru Dutt and Geeta Bali commences in the usual Hindi movie manner (which means Guru Dutt stalking Geeta Baali and the latter taking a dim view of that).
Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by O P Nayyar.
