“Bela” (1947) is by now an extremely obsure movie with little information available about it online. Mr Arunkumar Deshmukh, our belovedinhouse encyclopaedia, shared information about this movie in his comment on a previous song of this movie. Here is what he has to say about this movie:
BELA(1947),a Ranjit Movietone film was directed by Chaturbhuj Doshi and had Music by Bulo C Rani. The story, screenplay, Dialogues and Lyrics were by D.N.Madhok.
The cast of the film was P.Jairaj ,Nigar Sultana, Shrinath Tripathi (none other than S.N.Tripathi (who was a Lyricist and Music Director in later days), Pt.Iqbal, Krisnakumari, Master Mehmood, Rekha, Usha, B.R.Sharma etc.
The songs of this movie are just as obscure as the movie itself. Two songs from this movie have been discussed in the past.
Here is the third song from the movie. This rare song is sung by Zohrabai Ambalewaali. D N Madhok is the lyricist. Music is composed by Bulo C Rani.
Only the audio of this song is available. My guess is that this song must have been picturised on Nigar Sultana. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
Song-Bhaadon ki raat re (Bela)(1947) Zohrabai Ambalewaali, Lyrics-D N Madhok, MD-Bulo C Rani

Behram Khan (1946) has all 6 songs by Shamshad Begum.
Dushman (1938) has all 6 songs by K L Saigal.

You are right.
What I actually wanted to say was, that for Zohrabai it was the First time (and probably the last),to get all songs of a film. And not just 3 or 4 (Dushman),but all 10.
Unfortunately,my comment gave away some other meaning.Sorry about that.

Behram Khan had one song by GD. What Arunji meant was 100% of song sung by single singer. 10 on 10.

My advise to you would be to read 10 times, try to comprehend what u read, then think 10 times what to write, and once ur done with all these, then finally write if u think its going to make sense to others.

Atul ji,
This was, probably, the first film in which ONE singer featured in all songs.
The film had 10 songs. 8 were solos,1 was with A R Oza and 1 was with Chorus. Zohrabai Ambalewali sang ALL the songs in Bela-47.
