“Madhu”(1959) was directed by S Bannerji and Gyan Mukherji for Maya Art Pictures. The movie had Meena Kumari, Karan Dewan, Kumkum, Tuntun, Sailen Bose, Jagdish Sethi,Sunder etc in it.
Today (14 december 2014) is the 48th death anniversary of Shailendra (30 august 1923- 14 december 1966). Here is a rare song from “Madhu”(1950) as a tribute to Shailendra.
This song is sung by Lata. Shailendra is the lyricist. Music is composed by Roshan.
