“Dekha Jaayegaa”(1960) is as obscure a movie asny. This quintessential B movie was produced by Ravi Kapoor and directed by O P Khanna for Marvel Productions, Bombay. The movie had Kamran, Lilian, Nasreen, Amarnath, Sherry, Kumud Tripathi, Amrit Rana, Sukhdev, Soni, Mohan Modi, Zippy, Robert, Dilip, Haroon, Kader, Ahmad, Badshah, Ibrahim, Gulaab, Moti (the dog) etc in it.
B grade movies tended to have some A grade music in them those days, and this movie is no exception. Here is a wonderful song from “Dekha Jaayega”(1960). This song is sung by Suman Kalyanpur, Farooque Kaiser is the lyricist. Music is composed by Sardul Kwatra.
Only the audio of this song is available and so it is difficult to say how and on whom this song is picturised. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
