“Afsar” (1950) was a Navketan Films production. It was directed by Chetan Anand. The movie had Dev Anand, Suraiya, Krishan Dhawan, Rashid Khan, Ruma Guha Thakurta, Manmohan Krishna, Kanhaiyalal etc in it.
Five songs from this movie have been discussed in the past.
Here is the sixth song from “Afsar” (1950).
Unlike most songs from the movie, which are sung by well known playback singers, this song is sung by someone who is better known as a character actor playing serious roles. This song is sung by Manmohan Krishna. This is a light hearted song which is written by Vishwamitra Adil. Music is composed by S D Burman.
Only the audio of this song is available but it is clear that the song is picturised on Manmohan Krisha himself.
