“Do Dooni Chaar”(1968) was one of several movies that was based on William Shakespeare’s “Comedy of Errors”. “Angoor”(1980) too was based on the same story.
“Do Dooni Chaar”(1968) was directed by Deboo sen for Bimal Roy Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Kishore Kumar, Tanuja, Asit Sen, Sudha Sharma, Surekha Pandit, Rashid Khan, Vinod Sharma, Ifthikar, Chandrima Bhaduri, Lata Arora, Bhola, baby Sonia (Neetu Singh) etc in it.

When I see the notification for this song, I thought I had not heard it earlier, lekin sunne ke baad pata chala , haan ye to pehle suna hua gaana hai.
Watched this film when I was 7-8 yrs old, liked it very much. Cannot forget Kishore Kumar-Asin Sen and ‘hawaaon pe likh do hawaaon ke naam’ …
