Today, 6th April, is the birth anniversary of Sanjay Suri, a star of our current times.
Born this day in 1971, he is a native of Srinagar in Kashmir. In 1990, his father was killed in a terrorist attack, and his family was forced to flee their hometown. They came to Jammu and then settled down in Delhi.
After a brief modelling career, Sanjay got his break in films in 1999 with the film ‘Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi’. He continued to appear in supporting roles for some more years. 2003 was special. His role in ‘Pinjar’ attracted critical acclaim, and then the film ‘Jhankaar Beats’ was quite a box office success.
The song presented in this post is from this film. The film is a tribute to RD Burman and his music. It is written and directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The music is by Vishal-Shekhar. The singing voice in this song is that of KK. The song is picturized on Sanjay Suri, Rahul Bose, Juhi Chawla, Shayan Munshi, Rinki Khanna and Riya sen.
A lovely tribute to the all knowing and all powerful. The setting is a mass at a church. The song tells of the omnipresence of God, and that He is all powerful and benevolent. The song is being posted at the express request of Peevesie, who is a fan of Sanjay Suri. The lyrics have also been prepared by her.

Nice one. However a few people should not be credited with titles like “Music Director”.. eg. Bappi Lahiri, Annu Malik and VISHAL SHEKAR. They are Music Plagiarizers in my opinion. And of late a singer has popped up who is NOT a singer but an insult to music and his name is Arjit Singh.. our local bewda sings way better than him and without slurring. Of course I in the same vein am not a commenter to the topic.. err.. I am just pointing out random bits instead of about the article at hand.
