“Fareb”(1953) was directed by Shahid Lateef and Ismat Chugtai for Filmina. The movie had Kishore Kumar and Shankutala in lead roles. Others in the movie included Amar, Maya Das, Lalita Pawar, Zohra Sehgal, Tiwari, Shuzzu, Anwari Bai, Cooper, Hamida Bano, Habib Alkaf, Mehmooda, Afzal, Qamar, Mohan, Zubeda, Pagare, Baby Roshan etc in supporting roles.

Five songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the sixth song from the movie. This song is sung by Lata. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Anil Biswas.

Only the audio of this song is available. My guess is that this song was picturised on Shakuntala. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
