“Chandrasena”(1959) was directed by Babubhai Mistry for Basant Pictures. The movie had Mahipal, Girija, Paul Sharma, B.M.Vyas, Krishna Kumari etc in it.
Today (30 june 2015) is the 87th birth anniversary of Kalyanji Veerjee Shah(30 june 1928- 24 august 2000).
Kalyanji worked solo as a music director for a few movies before he was joined by his younger brother Anandji and together them formed the famous musical duo of Kalyanji Anandji.
Here is a song from “Chandrasena”(1959) on this occasion. This song is sung by Lata. Indeewar is the lyricist. Music is composed by Kalyanji Anandji.

Film Chandrasena 1959 . Director Babubhai Mistry used to be cine Photographer mainly particular in Religious films performing his great skill and miracles by his techniques . Which reminds me of Cecil -B -Demile. movies . Is it the same Film Drector ? thanks. Atul saab .Enjoyed this Blog ..
