“Maala”(1941) was produced by Prakash Pictures and was directed by Mahendra Thakur and P.Jairaj (actor). The movie had Miss Rose, Jayant, P Jairaj, Nazir, Heera, Lallu Bhai, Daya bai, Munshi Khanzar etc. in it.
Three songs from the movie have been discussed in the blog.
Here is the fourth song from the movie. It is sung by Sheetal Ghosh (a male singer, though the name Sheetal is mostly given to females). D N Madhok is the lyricist. Music is composed by Naushad.
Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
I have not been able to get some words right in the lyrics. I request our readers with keener ears to help fill in the missing words/ suggest corrections in the lyrics as applicable.
