“Nayi Duniya”(1942) was produced by Naushad and directed by A R Kardar for Sirco Productions, Bombay. The movie had Jairaj, Shobhna Samarth, Azurie, R Vasti, Mazhar Khan, Hari Shivdasani, Jeeva, Ram autaar, Alauddin etc in it.
Seven songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the eighth song from “Nai Duniya”(1942) to appear in the blog.
This song is mentioned as a group song. On listening to this song, one can hear at least two distinct male voices in addition to chorus. But the voices are not identified in HFGK.
The lyricist of this song is not known. Music is composed by Naushad.
This is a rare song and this song was not available on YT till now.
Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
I have not been able to get the lyrics right at a few places. I request our readers with keener ears to help fill in the blanks/ suggest corrections wherever applicable.

There were 2 lyricist apart from Tanwir Naqvi; Rammurthi Chaturvedi and A Shah Azeez

Rammutry Chaturvedi, A Shah Aziz are lyricists of one song each. From the entry, it is not clear whether the remaining songs are all penned by Tanvir Naqvi or not.

Though HFGK mentions Tanvir Naqvi as the lyricist of this movie, but no lyricist is mentioned against this song.

Since there was only one Lyricist,all songs must be his songs,if not mentioned otherwise.
