“Ghar Ki Laaj”(1941) was directed by V M Vyas for Sunrise Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Shanta Hublikar, Nazeer, Jagdish Sethi, Baby Kaushalya, Mirza Musharraf, Kalyani, Majid, Daya Devi, Hadi etc in it.
One song from this movie has been discussed in the past. Here is the second song from “Ghar Ki Laaj”(1941) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Kalyani. Ehsan Rizvi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Anna Sahab Mainkar.
Only the audio of this song is available. seeing that the name of Kalyani appears in the list of actors in the movie, it appears that the song was picturised on Kalyani herself. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song as well as on the movie.
