“Door Chalein”(1946) was directed by Phani Majumdar for Durga Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Naseem < Kamal, Damyanti, Balraj, Rajkumari, Agha, David, K C Dey etc in it.
Little information is available about this movie. Even the details about the total number of songs of this movie are not known. HFGK mentions eight songs from this movie and leaves spaces indicating that there were more songs in the movie whose details are not available.
Here is the first song from “Door Chalein”(1946) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Meena Kapoor. Lyricist is not known. Music is composed by K C Dey.
