One more song, THIRD of the three songs from 1948 film “Chaand Sitare’ by Lata-ji is presented here. (By the way, in my last article in this series, I had wrongly written that ‘Jab Dil Mein Tere Dard Ho….’ was the first one. out of three songs from ‘Chand Sitare’. Actually it was second.)
MD Premnath (Not the actor/villain) composed the tune for Ishwar Chandra Kapoor’s lyrics, like the other two preceding Lata’s songs.
This one is also a rare unheard song, She is complaining to Almighty about the affairs of this world, which is His creation. Notice her tone, which is much different than what we are used to hear in her songs of later years..
