“Jalwaa”(1955) was produced and directed by Roop K Shorey. This movie had the usual starcast of Roop K Shorey movies, viz. Meena Shourey, Karan Dewan, Sunder, Ratan Kumar, Hari Shivdasani, Amarnath, Majnu, Begum Para, Jagdish Kanwal etc in it.
There were eight songs in “Jalwaa”(1955). Here is the first song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Verma Malik is the lyricist. Music is composed by Vinod.
Only the audio of the song is available. My gues is this sog was picturised on Meena Shourey. Nevertheless, I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.
With this archtypical Vinod composition, “Jalwaa”(1955) makes its debut in the blog.
