“Pagdandi”(1947) was directed by Ram Narayan Dave for Pancholi Art. The movie had Padma, Akhtar, Gyaani, Om Prakash, Akhtari etc in it.
Seven songs from the movie has been discussed in the past.
Here is the eighth song from “Pagdandi”(1947) to appear in the blog. HFGK is silent about the names of the singers for all songs of this movie which is a rare song. I can detect at least two female voices in the song alongwith chorus. My guess is that these are the voices of Zeenat Begam and Munawwar Sultana (singer). I request our knowledgeable readers to help confirm/ refute my guess.
D N Madhok is the lyricist. Khursheed Anwar is the music director.
Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this delightful bhaabhi-nanad song.
