“Vallah Kya Baat Hai”(1962) was produced and directed by Hari Walia for Nitie Pictures, Bombay. This movie had Shammi Kapoor, Bina Roy, Nishi Kohli, Mumtaz, K.N.Singh, Tuntun, Maruti Rao, Mohan Choti, Abhi Bhattacharya, Anant Apte(Introducing), Raja, Munshi Munaqqa, Nag Paul, Jankidass, Rajen Kapoor, Edwina(dancer), Moolchand, Nazir Kashmiri etc in it.
The movie had eight songs in it. Si of these songs have been discussed in the past.
Here is the seventh song from “Vallah Kya Baat Hai”(1962) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Prem Dhawan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Roshan.
This western music based song is picturised as a club dance song on Nishi. I hope I have identified her correctly. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify her. Shammi Kapoor is also visible in the picturisation. It is one interesting song where roles are reverssed and it is the lady who is making passes on a gentleman.
