“Vallah Kya Baat Hai”(1962) was produced and directed by Hari Walia for Nitie Pictures, Bombay. This movie had Shammi Kapoor, Bina Roy, Nishi Kohli, Mumtaz, K.N.Singh, Tuntun, Maruti Rao, Mohan Choti, Abhi Bhattacharya, Anant Apte(Introducing), Raja, Munshi Munaqqa, Nag Paul, Jankidass, Rajen Kapoor, Edwina(dancer), Moolchand, Nazir Kashmiri etc in it.
The movie had eight songs in it. Seven of these songs have been discussed in the past.
Here is the eighth and final song from “Vallah Kya Baat Hai”(1962) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Prem Dhawan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Roshan.
The song is picturised on Bina Roy who is dressed in men’s clothing. I vaguely recall (from comments in the bog) that she poses as a male in this movie for some reason. And she is indeed dressed as a male but expressing he secret feminine feelings of love in this thought when ono one is looking.
The song uses a term “zindadi”. What does this word mean ? I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the meaning of this word.
With this song, “Vallah Kya Baat Hai”(1962) joins the list of movies that have all their songs covered in the blog.
Song-Teri meri ek zindadi (Vallah Kya Baat Hai)(1962)Singer-Asha Bhonsle, Lyrics-Prem Dhawan, MD-Roshan

That reminds me of the1956 film ‘Rangeen R’aatein, where throughout the film Geeta Bali acts in man’s attire.
