“Naya Kadam”(1958) was directed by S P Kalla for Gandhi and Choksi, Bombay. This “social” movie had Balraj Sahni, Sulochana, Lalita Pawar, Nazeer Hussain, Daisy Irani, Bhagwan, Baby Naaz, Roopmala, Babu Raje, Razia, Sundar, R S Dubey, Praveen, Anand Kapoor, Devchand, Ali Mohammad, Radheshyam, Tilak raj, Shapurji, Phyllis Dorothy, Saraswati devi, Roshan Kumari, Baby Shobha, Kamal Mehra, agha etc in it.
The movie had seven songs in it that were composed by two music directors.
One song from the movie has been covered in the past.
Here is the second song from “Naya Kadam”(1958) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Rafi. S P Kalla is the lyricist. Music is composed by Narayan Dutt.
