“Circus King”(1946), an extremely obscure stunt movie was directed by B R Mudnene for Bharat Productions, Bombay. The movie had Brijrani, Baburao Pahalwan, Sarojini, Gadagkar, Usha, Cuckkoo, Pandit, samson, Ramesh, Mirajkar, Ghori etc in it.
The movie had thirteen songs in it.
Here is the first song from “Circus King”(1946) to appear in the blog. According to HFGK, this song is sung by Shobha. M Raziuddin is the lyricist. There were two music directors in the movie viz J abhyankar and Nagesh Rao but distribution of songs among the two is not known.
The uploader mentions the singer as Rajkumari and music director as Hari Bhai. i have no idea how the uploader had come up with these credits. The voice does not sound like Rajkumari. This singer Shobha is an unknown quantity. Whether the character on whom this song is picturised was called Shobha or it is the name of the playback singer is not clear. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the identity of the singer and music director of this song. For now, i hav decided to go with the credits of HFGK.
With this extremely obscure song, “Circus King”(1946) makes its debut in the blog.

I know the singer Shobha sang another song in this movie, she also sang a few songs in Mauji Jeewan 1944. In the movie Safar 1946, there is a cast member named Shobha, not sure if she is the same one. Also, there is another playback singer named Shobha Gurtu. Could you review a song from the movie Lieutenant 1944? The singers are Miss Sharada, Kusum Joshi, Murali, and Mustafa. Mustafa is also the music director.
