“Behram Daaku”(1959) was directed by Akkoo for Afzal Films, Bombay. The movie had Manhar Desai, Chitra, Sheikh, Ashraf Khan, Habib, Tuntun, Shyam Kumar, Raj Adib, Menka Kumari, Daraj, Sharda, Babulal, Ranjana etc in it.
The movie had seven songs in it that were sung by five singers and were penned by three lyricists. One song from the movie has been covered in the past.
Here is the second song from “Behram Daaku”(1959) to appear in the blog. This song is song by Mubarak Begam. Saba Afghani is the lyricist. Music is coomposed by Sadat.
I have not been able to get a few words right in the lyrics. I request our readers with keener ears to help fill in the blanks/ suggest correction as applicable in the lyrics.
Only the audio of this rare song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
