“Veer Arjun”(1952) was produced by Ratilal Punatar and directed by Ramchandra Thakur. The movie had Trilok Kapoor, Nirupa Roy, P Kailash, Mahipal, Suryakant, Vijaysen, Anil, Vasantrao Pahalwan, Dulaari, Rajraani, Nazira, Mahtab, Kumud, Usha, Amirbai Karnataki, Keshav Purohit, Bheem, Banke Bihaari, S N Tripathi, Pesi Patel, Kamlakant, Sachin Ghosh, Kamlesh Thakar, Yashwant Dave, Bhagwandas, Date, Sayyad Patel, Ibrahim, Babu Raje, Yusuf Mahimi etc in it.
The movie, clearly about Arjun from the epic “Mahabharat”, had seven songs in it. Two songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the third song from “Veer Arjun”(1952) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Saraswati Kumar Deepak is the lyricist. Music is composed by Avinash Vyas.
