“Jung Aur Aman”(1968) was directed by Nanabhai Bhatt for Beauty Films, Bombay. This “costume” drama movie, a euphemism for a B grade movie, had Dara Singh, Mumtaz, Jayant, Murad, Krishna Kumari, Rajan Haksar, Sujata, Sushma, Indmohan, Laxmi Chhaaya, Noorjahaan, Kesri, Moolchand, Mohan Choti, Nadira etc in it.
The movie had five songs in it. Four of them were solo songs and one a female duet. Two of these songs have been overed in the past.
Here is the third song from “Jung Aur Aman”(1968) to appear in the blog. This song is a female duet and it is sung by two less known female playback singers viz Krishna Kalle and Pathare. I am not aware who Pathare is. She makes her debut as a playback singer with this song, unless we know her by another name. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on her.
The movie has three synchronised dance songs sung in raj darbaar. This song is on such song. I am unable to identify the two dancers. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify them.
I am unable to distinguish the two female voices as well and that is why I have not bothered to provide colour coding in this song. In any case, Pathare appears to sing only in chorus and not alone, as far as I can tell.
Hasrat Jaipuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by G S Kohli.

The lady sitting on Sinhaasan is KRISHNA KUMARI(north)(0:22)(enacting the role of a ?/queen)
at 0:44 the dancer(one of the dancer) is LAXMI CHHAYA

the second dancer is called SUJATA (according to a site called MuViz). this one is among my favorite “hidden” songs by LAXMI.
