Today we introduce the movie “Ham Bhi Kuchh Kam Nahin-1979” on the blog.
I guess that this was an obscure movie of its time. My guess is that this must be a ‘dubbed movie’ from a ‘southern movie’.
“Ham Bhi Kuchh Kam Nahin-1979” was directed by M.S. Gopinath for ‘Golden Eagle Films, Bombay’. It had Krishna, Jaya Chitra, Kavita, Vijay Lalita and others. HFGK Vol-V (1971-1980) mentions only these four names under the cast of this movie.
As per HFGK Vol-V, the date of certification by Censor Board of this movie is 22.12.1979.
“Ham Bhi Kuchh Kam Nahin-1979” has seven songs which were penned by two lyricist viz. Gopichand Kotwani (three songs) and Mukhtar (four songs).
Music for this movie was composed by Hari-Arjun.
Suresh Wadkar, Mahendra Kapoor, Dilraj Kaur, Meenu Puroshottam, Sushma Shreshtha, Preeti Sagar and Arjun Chhabra are the singers who had given their voices to the songs in this movie.

Looking at the cast etc, I thought this was a dubbed film. Prakashchandraji’s comments confirm this.
