“Dilaawar”(1966) was produced by Ramesh Vyas and directed by Harish Khatri for Nutan Chitra, Bombay. This movie had Saroja Rani, Randhawa, Khursheed, Noorjahaan, Rani, Madhumati, Lalita Desai, Rasheeda, Babu Raje, Rajan Kapoor, Tiwari, Polson, Mirza Musharraf, Rirkoo, Munshi Munakka, H Prakash, Jagdish Kamal, Uma Dutt, Radheshyam, Vasant Singh, Saudagar Singh, Sohan Singh, Amrit Rana, Mulchand Kapur, etc in it.
There were five songs in this “action” movie.
One song from “Dilaawar”(1966) has been covered in the past.
Here is the second song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is picturised as a dance song for the pleasure of the ruler of the land. The song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Aziz Kashmiri is the lyricist. Music is composed by N Datta.
I am unable to guess the identity of the dancer. She could be Madhumati or Rani or someone else. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify her.
