“Veer Rajputani”(1955) was produced and directed by JBH Wadia for Wadia Brothers, Bombay. The movie was based on Colonel Todd’s “Annals and antiquities of Rajasthan” and a Gujarati Novel “Veer Hak” by ghazal samrat Shaida. The movie had Shakila, Manhar Desai, Meenaxi,Bipin Gupta,B.M.Vyas,Anwar Husain, S.N.Tripathi, Dalpath, Babu Raje, Sharada, Shree bhagwan, Sardar Mansoor, Helen as dancer, Kalla, Pahalwaan, Shapur, Abdulla, Bismilla, M.K.Hasan, Mithoomiya,Korega, Yadav, Julian, Ratan, Azim Shamsherbaz, D.Rajkumar, Hema, Chanda, Pushpa, Menka, Aftab, Manna, Kusum, Vitha, Lata, Sunila etc in it.
“Veer Rajputani”(1955) had nine songs in it. Six songs have been covered so far.
Here is the seventh song from the movie to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Suman Kalyanpur and female chorus. Gopal Singh Nepali is the lyricist. Music is composed by Bulo C Rani.
