“Jeewan Saathi”(1957) was produced by Dhanwant S Shah and directed by R S Tara for D S Films, Bombay. The movie had Ashok Kumar, Usha Kiran, Anup Kumar, Daisy Irani, Amarnath, Jabeen, Prothima Devi, Shammi, Mirza Musharaff, Murad, Dhumal, Iftekhar, Salvi, Leela Mishra, Bhupendra Kapoor, Alka, Gopal etc in it.
“Jeewan Saathi”(1957) had eight songs in it. Six songs have been covered so far.
Here is the seventh song from the movie to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Bulo C Rani. Indeewar is the lyricist. Music is composed by Bulo C Rani.
The song is sung in K L Saigal/ C H Atma style which was a singing style that had gone out of fashion by that time. Still, this song sounds like a nice song to listen to for old times sake.
