These days I am presenting songs sung by Sulochana Kadam. In this post I am presenting a song sung by her from the movie ‘Jungle Mein Mangal-1947’.
One song from this movie has been posted on the blog which also had the voice of an unknown male singer with chorus.
“Jungle Mein Mangal-1947” was directed by Baburao Badodkar for ‘Harishchandra Pictures, Bombay’. The cast of this movie included Latika, Harishchandra Rao, Bibi, Nazeera, Dalpat, Hamid Majnoo, Varne, Munshi Shyam, Setti, Balaram, Nanda, Hanumant, Juliyaan, Narayan, Pandit, Maske and others. Geet Kosh mentions this movie as a movie from the genre of ‘stunt genre’.
Geet Kosh Vol-II (1941-1950) lists six songs for this movie all written by Munshi Shyam. Music for this movie is composed by Nandram Onkar Jee. Singer’s names are mentioned only for two songs i.e. one for today’s song and the one that has already been posted on the blog.
